Research Compliance Training
Research Compliance Training
Research Compliance Training Dashboard provides a comprehensive view of investigator training completion and research proposal related compliance status across UTRGV. It supports monitoring of required training, certificate expirations, and compliance gaps to help ensure timely renewals and institutional compliance.
1. Purpose and Scope
The Research Compliance Training Dashboard is designed to provide a comprehensive overview of training completion and compliance status for UTRGV researchers. Its purpose is to support effective monitoring of required research compliance training across designated platforms by presenting clear, actionable insights into course completion rates, certificate expiration timelines, and outstanding training requirements. The dashboard enables users to assess individual and aggregate training progress, identify compliance gaps, and proactively manage renewal needs. By centralizing this information in a user-friendly format, the dashboard supports informed decision-making and promotes ongoing institutional compliance with research training requirements.2. Data Sources and Structure
This dashboard integrates training data from the CITI Program Research Training platform, the UTRGV Research Training system, and proposal compliance information from the ARGO system, including compliance questions and responses. The data are structured at the proposal level and linked to all associated investigators to enable tracking of individual training completion status in relation to specific proposal submissions and compliance requirements.
4. Key Metrics and Visualizations
Key metrics include PI and Co-PI training completion status, number of proposals, and compliance response indicators. Visualizations consist of tables, matrices, and cards to display individual and proposal-level training progress, outstanding requirements, and compliance gaps, facilitating quick identification of training needs for each research project.
