DPM Dashboard
Purpose and Scope
The DPM Dashboard is designed to track and monitor the academic progress of doctoral students at UTRGV. It provides insights into student enrollment, academic standing, and program-specific progress, supporting timely graduation tracking. The dashboard includes the DPM App, a PowerApp component that allows Graduate Program Coordinators (GPCs) and the Graduate College to directly update student records in real-time. This tool streamlines data management by enabling users to edit and manage student information without leaving the dashboard, ensuring timely and accurate updates.
Data Sources and Structure
The dashboard pulls data from UTRGV’s Banner system and other institutional databases. It organizes student information by program, academic standing, and key performance metrics such as completed credit hours and expected graduation.
Key Metrics and Visualizations
The dashboard highlights critical metrics, including total students, students in good standing, credit hours, and expected graduates. Key visualizations include bar charts, heat maps, and tables that summarize academic standing, graduation timelines, and program-specific insights.
