ORU Dashboard
Purpose and Scope
The ORU Dashboard provides an overview of the research productivity of UTRGV's Organized Research Units (ORUs). It tracks proposal submissions, awards, funding, and research expenditures, allowing users to monitor and analyze ORU performance efficiently. The dashboard is designed for researchers, faculty, and administrators to gain insights into ORU activities across the university.
Data Sources and Structure
Data for the dashboard is sourced from manually populated records and the ARGO system. It includes information on proposals, awards, and expenditures directly associated with ORU directors and contributing faculty. The dashboard is organized into sections that display aggregated and detailed views of ORU members, financials, and research outcomes.
Key Metrics and Visualizations
Key metrics include:
- Number of proposals, awards, and research expenditures.
- Total requested and funded amounts. Visualizations include tables and charts that allow users to interact with data, filter by departments or individuals, and drill down into detailed ORU performance metrics.
