The Project Listing Report provides a comprehensive view of the institution’s active and historical projects, organized across three key areas: Cost Center Management, Federal Sponsored Programs, and Bond-Funded Projects. This report is essential for institutional transparency and effective project oversight.
- Cost Center and Financial Management: This section highlights the allocation and management of institutional funds across various departments and cost centers. It includes details on department heads, deans, and financial officers responsible for overseeing the funds, making it a crucial tool for tracking budget utilization and maintaining financial accountability.
- Federal Sponsored Programs and Research Projects: This section details federally funded research projects, providing insights into the source of funding, the associated sponsors (e.g., federal agencies), and the financial management of each project. The information is valuable for understanding the scope and impact of federally sponsored research activities within the institution.
- Permanent University Fund (PUF) and Revenue Bond Projects: This section focuses on projects funded through bond initiatives, providing transparency into the institution’s long-term investments in infrastructure and maintenance. It includes information on fund allocations, project descriptions, and the responsible personnel, making it a key resource for stakeholders monitoring capital project development.
Together, these three sections offer a complete snapshot of the institution's financial and project management landscape, enabling administrators, financial officers, and researchers to track the progress and financial health of key institutional initiatives.
Cost Center and Financial Management Report
This section provides a detailed overview of the institution's cost centers and their financial management. Users can view:
- Cost Center Details: Displays the name and Oracle code for each cost center, along with the status and associated department.
- Fund Allocation: Provides a breakdown of funds used by each cost center, categorized by function (e.g., Research, Public Service).
- Financial Oversight: Highlights key personnel managing the funds, including cost center managers and department heads.
This report allows users to monitor budget allocation and management across departments. It ensures that resources are properly distributed and tracked, supporting institutional transparency and accountability.
How to use: You can filter the report by cost center, manager, or status, and export the data for further analysis by using the options menu.
Federal Sponsored Programs and Research Projects Report
This section focuses on federally funded research projects, offering insights into the financial and operational aspects of each initiative. The report includes:
- Project Descriptions: Provides the Oracle project code, description, and status (e.g., GM – Closed, GM – Frozen).
- Funding Sources: Details federal funds allocated to each project, along with the specific federal agency sponsoring the research.
- Research Areas: Organizes projects by their functional focus, such as Research or Academic Support.
This report is essential for researchers and administrators tracking federal grants and sponsored research. It helps in ensuring compliance with funding guidelines and provides a clear view of active and completed research projects.
How to use: Filter the report by project ID, end date, or principal investigator (PI) to explore specific projects. Export the data for reporting or auditing purposes via the export menu.
Permanent University Fund (PUF) and Revenue Bond Projects Report
This section provides an overview of capital projects funded by the Permanent University Fund (PUF) and revenue bonds. Key elements include:
- Project Descriptions: Displays project ID, Oracle code, and descriptions such as infrastructure upgrades or academic building renovations.
- Project Status: Indicates whether the project is active or inactive, along with the start and end dates for each.
