Qualtrics DoR Survey Dashboards
Purpose and Scope
The Qualtrics DoR Survey Dashboards provide UTRGV stakeholders with insights into feedback from faculty and staff about pre-award, post-award, compliance, and commercialization services. The dashboards allow users to analyze survey responses, assess staff performance, and explore collaborative opportunities across research units.
Data Sources and Structure
The dashboards pulls data from Qualtrics survey responses, categorizing feedback into specific areas like pre-award services, research compliance, and ORU collaborations. The data is structured to allow easy filtering by role, department, and service areas.
Key Metrics and Visualizations
Key metrics include the number of survey submissions, staff professionalism ratings, and service-specific feedback. Visualizations consist of bar charts and tables displaying respondents’ roles, affiliated units, service areas, and feedback, with comment sections offering detailed qualitative responses.

Filters and Slicers:
- Last 7 Days, Last 30 Days, Last 90 Days, Total Submissions: These slicers allow the user to filter results by submission periods.
- Primary Position, Affiliated Unit: Users can filter data based on the user's role at UTRGV and their affiliated department.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Total Submissions: The total number of pre-award submissions made, represented numerically.
Cards:
- Cards display the count of responses in the last 7, 30, and 90 days, as well as the total submissions (175).
Visuals:
- Bar Chart – What is your primary position at UTRGV?: This chart shows a breakdown of responses by different faculty positions (e.g., Assistant Professor, Associate Professor).
- Bar Chart – Which unit are you primarily affiliated with?: Displays the units or colleges with which the respondents are associated.

- Stacked Bar Chart – Staff professionalism: Displays responses related to professionalism, response time, and knowledge of the staff, categorized by agreement levels (Strongly Agree, Agree, etc.).
Overall Functionality:
