Project Burn Rate Dashboard
The Burn Rate Dashboard is designed to provide a comprehensive, project-level view of sponsored projects' fund utilization over time. It is intended for Principal Investigators (PIs), department administrations, and financial leads to ensure transparency and agility in managing project finances. The dashboard enables stakeholders to monitor spending patterns, identify potential funding utilization issues, and pinpoint data inaccuracies efficiently. The scope includes tracking financial data from the initiation of each project (as recorded in PeopleSoft) up to the most recent closed financial period, allowing users to make timely decisions and adjustments.

The IDC Dashboard is designed to analyze and present UTRGV’s Indirect Cost (IDC) return expenditures. It offers insights into how IDC funds are distributed across Principal Investigators (PIs), their departments, colleges/schools, VP divisions, and Organized Research Unit (ORU) centers. The dashboard aims to provide detailed visibility into IDC recovery rates, the distribution of funds, and cost center management for strategic decision-making.

Degree Progression Monitoring Dashboard
The Degree Progression Monitoring (DPM) Dashboard is designed to track the academic progress of students who have completed a major semester (Fall/Spring). The dashboard excludes students who have graduated in the current term. DPM App is a PowerApp component within the Degree Progression Monitoring dashboard that enables Graduate Program Coordinators and the Graduate College to directly update student records in real-time from within the PowerBI interface. This integration streamlines the process of tracking student progress, allowing for immediate updates on key milestones and program completion data. The PowerApp ensures data accuracy and enhances the user experience by providing an intuitive and seamless way to manage student information within a single platform.
Earn Rate Dashboard
The Earn Rate Dashboard tracks the academic progress of doctoral students at UTRGV by analyzing their credit hours earned and time in the program. The scatter chart on the first page visually maps each student’s total credit hours earned against the number of years since their first enrollment. Students are categorized into zones (fast, normal, slow) based on their credit-earning rate, helping Graduate College administrators quickly identify which students are on track, ahead, or behind in their academic journey. This tool enables proactive management of student progression and supports data-driven decisions for doctoral program success.

The Doctoral Students Lifecycle Dashboard is designed to provide insights into the progress and performance of UTRGV's doctoral students. It tracks key metrics such as credit hours earned, academic standing, lifecycle progression, and doctoral degrees awarded. The dashboard allows administrators and faculty to monitor students' academic journeys, identify students at risk, and measure the effectiveness of doctoral programs. It offers a comprehensive view of doctoral students' statuses, from enrollment to graduation, helping stakeholders make data-driven decisions.

The Dissertation Chairs Dashboard is a comprehensive tool designed to track and manage dissertation activities at UTRGV. It provides insights into the assignment of dissertation chairs (primary advisors) to doctoral students, the number of students earning dissertation hours, and the enrollment of students in dissertation courses for the current term. This dashboard is primarily used by the Graduate College and department leadership to monitor the progress of students in the dissertation phase, ensure proper advising oversight, and maintain alignment between dissertation chairs and course instructors.
