Resources and Funding

The Center for Latin American Arts seeks to support faculty and student scholarship, performance, and exhibition of the arts to promote excellence in scholarship and creative works. The Center also places a priority on student success by providing our undergraduate and graduate students with unique learning opportunities and funding to produce new research and make an impact on our community and beyond.

Faculty Support for Travel

The Center seeks to support faculty as they travel to participate in conferences and symposia at national and international academic venues. Faculty will have opportunities at multiple intervals per year to apply for funding to make their professional travel possible.

Faculty Support for Research

The Center seeks to support financially our faculty to help cultivate their interests to study, perform, and exhibit their work in national and international venues. Faculty will have the opportunity to apply for funding to conduct research and contribute to their fields with scholarship and creative art production.

Student Travel Funding

As the Center seeks to become a global leader in the study of U.S., Latin American, Iberian, and Latinx arts, it will support students in their interests to produce, share, and disseminate their own work and develop their professional skills in academic venues. Students will have the opportunity to apply for funding through the Center to travel for research and learning opportunities. Please apply 3 months before your project deadline.
