Pursue Your Passion
At the College of Fine Arts, we welcome everyone with the creativity, resourcefulness, and resolve — to pursue their passions.
Members of the faculty work closely with students to develop discipline, explore techniques, and share knowledge that will help students become masters of their craft.
Throughout their artistic careers, faculty members demonstrate a high level of dedication to their art. This same dedication is cultivated to students by modeling the hours of practice and hard work required in each of the college's disciplines.
In the News
The Wall That Heals exhibit features a three-quarter scale replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C. The replica is 375 feet in length and stands 7.5 feet high at its tallest point.
Bringing The Wall home to communities throughout our country allows the souls enshrined on the Memorial to exist once more among family and friends in the peace and comfort of familiar surroundings. The traveling exhibit provides thousands of veterans who have been unable to cope with the prospect of facing The Wall to find the strength and courage to do so within their own communities, thus allowing the healing process to begin.
Apply to honor your veteran, through In Memory, by March 20th and their photo will be included as part of the mobile Education Center display when The Wall That Heals is on display in Edinburg.
