Undergraduate and Graduate Grants
The College of Fine Arts will support students who engage in travel, study abroad, and research and creative activity. Awards will be recognized at the College of Fine Arts Awards Reception with invitations to members of the college and supporters and stakeholders internal and external to UTRGV. Funding will come from college funding but there is an opportunity for College of Fine Arts supporters to name awards in their honor/memory through an endowed gift.
- Global Citizenship Scholarships support students participating in study abroad programs.
- Student Research Travel Scholarships support students who want to attend conferences or other professional venues to present their research and creative activities.
- Undergraduate and Graduate Research Grants support students in conducting projects in collaboration or under the mentorship of faculty members from the college.

CFA Faculty Travel Grants
The FY25 College of Fine Arts Travel Grants support faculty engaging in research and creative activity-related travel, with awards ranging from $500 to $1,000. Applications are available online, and the College Leadership Council makes monthly decisions on grant recipients. While funding is limited, the college hopes this initiative will provide an additional resource to complement the support already offered by departments and the institution.
