Creative Writing

UTRGV Creative Writing faculty José Rodriguez and Emmy Perez teamed up with the International Writing Program at the University of Iowa led by Christopher Merrill and Wendy Walters to travel to Ecuador and Colombia in 2018. There, this group hosted workshops and broadcasted readings with other writers, local journalists, and students. The Center for Latin American Arts will support future projects for writers and students to collaborate and produce creative literature.
