Grants
Grants are a form of financial aid that does not need to be repaid. Grants are typically awarded based on financial need and are provided by various sources including federal, state, and institutional funds. Your financial need is determined by the results of your FAFSA.
Federal Pell Grants are awarded to undergraduate students who have not earned a bachelor's or professional degree. Pell Grants do not have to be repaid. Eligibility for the Pell Grant is determined by the Department of Education based on results of your FAFSA. The student must be making satisfactory academic progress and must also meet the additional eligibility requirements outlined in the Eligibility Requirements section. Students do not have to be registered full time to receive the Pell Grant. The amount of your Pell Grant will be determined by the maximum set by the Department of Education, the Expected Family Contribution (EFC Number), and enrollment status. Pell Grant awards may vary from year to year depending on program funding. Learn more about Pell Grants.
