Laptop Requirement and Specifications
All UTRGV School of Medicine students are required to own a laptop computer with WiFi capability. If you plan on using your current laptop, make sure it meets the Laptop Requirements.

Blackboard (Learning Management System)
Blackboard is the learning management system for UTRGV and is centrally supported by the Center for Online Learning and Teaching Technology (COLTT). One45 (Curriculum Management System)
One45 is used in the School of Medicine for reporting, assessing, managing and tracking of the UTRGV School of Medicine curriculum. It is used for year 3 and year 4 scheduling, tracking student activity in clinical rotations, and for course evaluations. Panopto (Lecture Capture)
Panopto is a video hosting platform that allows faculty to create lecture recordings, stream live video, and manage their video content within Blackboard. With Panopto users can edit, auto-caption, and embed polls in recordings.
Respondus (Online Quizzes)
Respondus is used to create and manage quizzes that can be published directly to Blackboard.
Zoom (Online Meetings)
Zoom is an online video conferencing application that makes it easy to hold impromptu or scheduled meetings, teach online courses, conduct training, and host webinars.
