With an encyclopedic collection of cultural object and biological specimens, the Zapata County Museum of History is a place to visit again and again. There is always something new to see, to do, to learn, and explore.
EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS
The educational program content is grade level appropriate and designed as an enrichment for all students in life science, earth science, physical science, the social sciences, as well as to enhance students' master of a social activity in a special setting.
COMMUNITY SERVICE
The Museum will serve and enrich the community by collecting, preserving, and interpreting the history of Zapata and its region through exhibitions, educational programs, lectures, publications and other community events.
