Best Practices for Accessibility and Inclusion
In order to facilitate equal access for students with disabilities, UTRGV provides accommodations as mandated by ADA and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973. The purpose of accommodations is to reduce or eliminate barriers experienced by students with disabilities and to ensure equal access to the University’s programs and services. However, access includes much more than accommodations.
The following links provide resources to assist with designing inclusive and accessible learning environments, both in person and virtual.
