Frequently Asked Questions

The Procurement Office has notified all Punchout vendors of the address change and will proactively coordinate with departments on next steps for any purchase orders (POs) that were issued using the former central receiving address and are still pending delivery.

Please note that the shipping address cannot be directly modified on an existing PO. The following guidance applies:

  • If the order has not yet shipped:
    Contact the supplier immediately to request an update to the correct, active shipping address prior to shipment.

  • If the order has already shipped or cannot be modified:
    Distribution and Logistics will continue to receive shipments at the previous location and facilitate routing through June 12, 2026.

  • For complex situations or significant changes:
    Coordinate with Procurement at ishop@utrgv.edu or at phone number (956) 665-2612 to determine next steps.

To avoid future issues, ensure your default Ship To Address is updated in your system profile before submitting new requisitions.

If a vendor informs you that your order has been returned, please contact the vendor directly to coordinate reshipment using the updated McAllen Central Receiving address.
Additionally, ensure your ship-to information is updated in iShop to prevent future delivery issues.
If further assistance is needed, contact Procurement for support.

Our Distribution and Logistics team is currently experiencing delays due to some packages arriving with incomplete or incorrect labeling. This has made it more time-consuming to identify the correct recipients.

The team is actively working to process and deliver all packages as quickly as possible.

What happens if my Amazon order is returned?
If your item is returned to Amazon, the vendor will process and issue a refund.

What should I do after a refund is issued?
Once the refund is completed, you will need to place a new order using the updated McAllen Central Receiving address.
