The Business Contracts Office supports the educational and research missions of the University by efficiently managing the drafting and execution of business service contracts. Our office ensures the University's protection and strict adherence to applicable laws, policies, and procedures.
Certified Contract professionals provide the following primary services to UTRGV:
- Guidance to University Departments on Contracts process and Contract oversight
- Business Transaction Guidance
- Serve as a liaison between University Departments and Contracting Parties
- Contract Review, Negotiation, and Drafting
- Contract Routing for Signatures according to the most up-to-date UT System Delegation of Authority. Link to DOA
- Prepare Board of Regents Approval documents for University Business Contracts

- Advise Departments of contractual rights and obligations
