The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley’s Contracts Office supports educational and research missions of the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley by facilitating the execution of procurement related contracts while ensuring compliance with state and federal laws, UT System Board of Regents’ Rules and Regulations, and UTRGV policies and procedures.

The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley’s Travel and One Card Office oversees is here to guide you through the process of planning a business trip or payment for non restricted goods within your monthly and single purchase limits that are not available through the electronic Procurement site (iShopUTRGV).

The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley’s Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) is committed to providing full and equal opportunity for HUBs and small businesses to provide goods and services needed by creating a fair and open competitive market. The HUB Office also improves community awareness and educates the university and business community about the benefits of using HUB vendors to encourage competition for contracts and purchases and increase the number and value of contracts awarded to HUBs and small business firms, while ensuring compliance with state HUB laws. In addition, the HUB Office offers assistance to vendors wishing to subcontract with HUBs.

The mission of Distribution and Logistics is to receive, inspect and deliver goods to the University community in a timely manner and ensure the electronic receipt for items are recorded promptly. We also provide surplus property services to the University community in the most timely and efficient manner possible so as to assure that UTRGV’s assets are being used to their fullest capabilities.
