Mission Statement

The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley’s Travel and One Card Office oversees is here to guide you through the process of planning a business trip or payment for non restricted goods within your monthly and single purchase limits that are not available through the electronic Procurement site (iShopUTRGV).
Our office is ready to assist you through the booking process, credit card application process, and guide you in how to maintain and reconcile your travel expenses and/or One Card.
Travel Restrictions
Effective November 19, 2024, Governor's Executive Order No. GA-48 imposes travel restrictions on the following regions: China, Cuba, Hong Kong, Iran, North Korea (Democratic People's Republic of Korea), Macau, Russia, and Venezuela.
Travel Advisory
June 2024
There is a new travel warning issued by the U.S. Consulate Office in Matamoros regarding criminal activity targeting U.S. citizens for kidnapping and extortion. In consultation with the UTRGV Chief of Police, the International Oversight Committee is suspending travel to Reynosa and Matamoros, Tamaulipas, until further notice.
One Card
Interested in becoming part of the One Card Program? Create a new entry and complete required trainings (will be emailed separately).
Did you just receive your new One Card? Create a new entry to acknowledge that the card is in you possession and activated.
UTRGV monthly limits are as follows: Single Swipe: $5,000 Monthly: $15,000 Create a new entry to request an increase if you will be exceeding the limits during the bill cycle (4th of the month to the 3rd of the month).
Changing departments, leaving the university, or no longer need a credit card? Create a new entry to request to cancel your card.
