Embedding Panopto Videos in Blackboard

Summary

Panopto recordings can easily be embedded in Blackboard from the Build Content area.

Instructions

Embed a Panopto Video as a link in a Content Area

  1. Navigate to the Content Area.
  2. Click Build Content.
  3. Select Panopto Video Embed Tool (LTI 1.3).
  4. Select your video. You may search for a video from another course folder.
  5. Click on Insert.
Note: You should see the Panopto video link added to your content area.

Embed a Panopto Video within a Content Area

  1. Click on Build Content.
  2. Select Create Item.
  3. Click on the + sign to add content within the text editor.
  4. Select Panopto Video Embed Tool (LTI 1.3).
  5. Select your video.
  6. Click Insert.
  7. Add any additional content if desired before or after the embedded video player.
  8. Click on Submit.
Note: You should see the embedded Panopto video player added to the content area.
