The UT System has signed an open access (OA) agreement with Wiley journals that will cover the full cost of article processing charges (APCs) in hybrid OA journals for UTRGV corresponding authors. Hybrid journals are those that have a choice of whether to publish OA or not.
Researchers preparing to publish can utilize the Wiley Journal Finder to identify journals best suited to their work. Note: For Wiley, be on the lookout for journals labeled “Offers Open Access.” “Fully Open Access” labeled journals are not covered under UTRGV’s agreement.
Eligible article types: primary research or a review article. Other article types e.g. letters, editorials etc. are excluded.
