The UT System has negotiated a transformative agreement with Springer to support open access (OA) publishing, and all articles accepted for publication from UTRGV corresponding authors are eligible to be automatically published with no separate article processing charges (APCs).
Articles published as OA under the terms of this agreement will be available under either a CC BY, CC BY-NC, or CC BY-NC-ND license.
NOTE: This agreement does not include BMC, Nature, or fully open access titles.
Article types covered: Original papers, Review papers, Brief communications, or Continuing education.
Use Springer’s Journal and funding finder to see what journals are covered by the agreement. Note: Access Springer while connected to the UTRGV network (or through the UTRGV VPN). Springer will automatically indicate which journals are included under UTRGV’s agreement.
