The Border Studies Archive (BSA) is a repository for the culture and heritage of the borderlands of deep south Texas and houses collections relating to the unique folklore, histories, and lives of people living along the U.S.-Mexican border in South Texas.
The Interlibrary Loan (ILL) Office borrows research materials that are not owned by University Library.
The Research and Instruction Department promotes critical thinking, self-discovery, and ethical participation in diverse learning communities.
Special Collections and University Archives holds primary source (original) and secondary source materials such as correspondence, business files, maps, slides, ledgers, books, ephemera, newspapers, journals, newsletters, oral histories, and photographs regarding the cultural heritage and history of our region.
