The Textbook Affordability Project is a partnership between the University Library and Academic Affairs which supports the advocacy and implementation of open educational practices at UTRGV. Open Educational Practices, which include Open Educational Resources (OER) and Open Pedagogy, provide faculty the ability to exercise their academic freedom while simultaneously providing students with immediate access to zero-cost or low-cost course materials. This project’s goal is to recognize those who have dedicated their time and effort to ensure students at UTRGV have affordable access to high-quality and innovative course materials at a minimal cost to students.
