Responsible for directly supervising various UREC activities, including, but not limited to Sport Club competitions and practices, Outdoor Adventures programming, and open recreation.

Responsibility
Position OverviewThis position is responsible for providing customer service to members and guests who enter the facility.
Major Duties
- Control access into the facility to students and paid members.
- Provide customer service in proficient and expeditious manner.
- Handle daily customer requests and concerns.
- Operate a point of sale system and reconcile sales daily.
- Accountable for cash transactions, including membership sales, daily guest fees and program transactions.
- Monitor and inventory various physical activity items.
- Enforce the established policies and procedures for the recreational facility in a fair, prudent and professional manner.
- Assist fellow staff in daily operations of the facility.
- Assist with emergency situations and evacuations when necessary.
- Performed other duties assigned.
Qualifications
Must be a current student or a student pre-registered for the upcoming long semester (fall/spring, min. 12 hrs). Student must maintain a minimum GPA of 2.0
Preferred
Experience in customer service, the ability to handle multiple tasks at one time and acquire a vast amount of information and disseminate accurately to customers.

This position is responsible for providing assistance to the Member Services and Reservations Coordinator in overseeing customer service provided to members and guests.
Major Duties
- Carries the recommendations of the Member Services and Reservations Coordinator.
- Assist the Member Services and Reservations Coordinator in managing student staff.
- Assist in hiring, training, scheduling and evaluation of student employees.
- Supervise the progress of student staff.
- Assist in overseeing the operations of Member Services.
- Assist in training for a point of sale system and reconciliation of sales daily.
- Record and maintain equipment inventory for Member Service equipment.
- Represent department at fairs and events on/off campus.
- Assist in preparing member service reports.
- Enforce the established policies and procedures for the recreational facility in a fair, prudent and professional manner.
- Assist with departmental special events.
- Assist with emergency situations and evacuations when necessary.
- Performed other duties assigned.
Qualifications
Must be a current student or a student pre-registered for the upcoming long semester (fall/spring, min. 12 hrs). Student must maintain a minimum GPA of 2.5.
Preferred
Experience in customer service and leadership role, three (3) month recreation experience is preferred.
