University Recreation in collaboration with School of Podiatric Medicine and Human Resources Employee Wellness invites you to participate in:

Dye Hard Orange 5K | Saturday, February 8, 2025

Celebrate UTRGV spirit, tradition, and wellness in this exciting, color-filled event. This family friendly event welcomes all ages, so bring everyone along to show your Vaquero spirit and support our traditions.

The Dye Hard Orange 5K is a five-kilometer, untimed event. Along the route, participants are doused with orange colored powder. Participants wear their white event tee at the start of the race and finish the race plastered in color. We recommend wearing sunglasses or goggles, and a bandana over your mouth and nose in the orange zones. The race is for everyone – first timers to seasoned athletes, with no winners or official time. Please note it may get a bit messy after the race, so bring some extra towels or wipes.
