National Intramural-Recreational Sports Association

NIRSA (originally founded as the National Intramural-Recreational Sports Association) is the premier professional association for leaders in collegiate recreation, fitness, and campus wellbeing. Established in February 1950 at Dillard University by pioneers from 11 Historically Black Colleges and Universities, the non-profit organization supports thousands of professional and student members across North America.
