Driving Directions
From Edinburg: Take I-2 East toward Harlingen. Continue for about 40 miles and take Exit 173 for Treasure Hills Blvd/Ed Carey Dr. Turn left on Treasure Hills Blvd. The UTRGV School of Podiatric Medicine building will be on your right, near Valley Baptist Medical Center.

From Brownsville: Take I-69E North toward Harlingen. Take Exit 26 for Ed Carey Dr. Turn left on Ed Carey Dr, then right on Treasure Hills Blvd. The UTRGV School of Podiatric Medicine building will be on your left.

From Valley International Airport: Head south on Rio Hondo Rd, then turn right onto Loop 499. Continue to Treasure Hills Blvd and turn right. The UTRGV School of Podiatric Medicine building will be on your left.

Parking Information
Visitors may park in designated visitor parking spots located near main campus entrances.

Individual Campus Tours

Experience the UTRGV School of Podiatric Medicine firsthand with a personalized tour led by an SOPM staff member or student ambassador. These one-hour walk-throughs are perfect for prospective students and their families who want to learn more about our facilities, program, and student experience.

Tour Schedule:

  • Wednesdays: 10:00 a.m.
  • Thursdays & Fridays: 2:00 p.m. or 3:00 p.m.

Group Tours (10 or More)

Bring your class, organization, or group to explore the UTRGV School of Podiatric Medicine! Our group tours include a guided walk-through of the SOPM facilities and a brief presentation from a faculty or staff representative about our program offerings and the path to becoming a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine.

Tour Schedule:

  • When: 1st and 3rd Thursdays & Fridays of each month
  • Start Times: 9:30 a.m. or 10:00 a.m.
  • Duration: Approximately 2 hours 

Groups of 10 or more visitors are invited to sign up using the form below to reserve a date for their visit.

Clery Act

The Annual Security and Fire Safety Report includes information on safety and security policies, including crime and fire statistics for the previous three years.

The report is available on the University Police website.  A hard copy of the report is available at the University Police Departments located on 501 N. Sugar Rd. (Edinburg), 2671 FJRM Ave. (Brownsville), 2102 Treasure Hills Blvd. (Harlingen), or 1937 East Bustamante Street (Laredo), also by contacting University Police at 956-882-7777.
