National Student Employment Week
Every year on the second week of April, universities, and colleges throughout the country, celebrate National Student Employment Week. During this week, student employees are recognized and appreciated for their valuable collaboration and dedication to UTRGV. This celebration not only increases awareness of the student employment program but also recognizes student employees for their important role, outstanding performance, and contribution made to our institution, UTRGV. Departments are encouraged to nominate their student worker with outstanding work performance for the Student Employee of the Year Award. The award winner is celebrated and given a scholarship at the Student Employee of the Year Award ceremony during National Student Employment Week. Supervisor of the Year and Profile of the Year are also recognized.
