  • Must be a current UTRGV Student Employee or a student pursuing employment on campus
  • Attend orientation meeting at the beginning of the program
  • Complete a self-assessment before the start of the program
  • Attend/Complete events pre-selected by the program
  • Complete two training sessions for each competency
  • Complete Post Assessment at the end of the program
  • Attend End of Program Session

Students are to complete the guidebook received during orientation. The guidebook will help with tracking the completion of the program.

Four Year Breakdown


The program will consist of 4 tracks (depending on classification). Each track will require the student to complete 2 events and 2 trainings per competency.

*Each path will have a pre-selected list of events/training to choose from.
