About TRACS
The Texas Regional Alliance for Campus Sustainability (TRACS) is a collaborative network that unites colleges and universities across Texas to advance sustainability in academics, operations, research, and community engagement. Hosted by The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley at the South Padre Island Convention Center, the Annual TRACS Summit brings together students, faculty, staff, administrators, and community partners to connect, collaborate, and contribute toward a sustainable future for Texas.
Now celebrating over a decade of impact, TRACS serves as a statewide platform for sharing best practices, building partnerships, and addressing emerging challenges in sustainability and climate resilience. UTRGV and TRACS are committed to fostering social equity, environmental stewardship, and resilient economic growth across the state.
The Summit goes beyond presentations, offering interactive workshops, peer-to-peer dialogues, and hands on learning opportunities that empower participants to lead meaningful change on their campuses and in their communities. Together, we are cultivating the next generation of sustainability leaders dedicated to shaping a more equitable and resilient future for Texas.
