Welcome to the Division of Women’s and Children’s Health, we are delighted to share the news of our recent merger! The  Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) and the Department of Pediatrics have joined forces to create the new Division of Women’s and Children’s Health at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) School of Medicine, under the Primary and Community Care Integrated Service Unit. 

This collaboration brings together a wealth of expertise in women’s health, pediatric medicine, and related fields. As we embark on this journey, we remain committed to providing compassionate, accessible, and sustainable healthcare for women and children. Our collective efforts will drive groundbreaking research, enhance clinical care, and shape the future of healthcare education.
