Here's how we're working with the community:

• Community Advisory Board: We are establishing a Community Advisory Board comprised of local residents, healthcare providers, and advocates with a vested interest in maternal health. This board will provide guidance on our research priorities and ensure our work is relevant to the needs of the community.
• Community Outreach Events: We will regularly host educational events and workshops throughout the Rio Grande Valley. These events will address a variety of topics related to maternal health, such as prenatal care, nutrition, and postpartum support.
• Research Participation: We are committed to including community members in our research studies. We will work to ensure that all research materials are available in both English and Spanish and that participation is accessible and culturally sensitive.
• Partnerships: We are actively seeking partnerships with local organizations that share our commitment to improving maternal health. These partnerships will allow us to leverage our combined resources and expertise to make a greater impact.
