I am a three year graduate from Roma High School. While attending UTPA, I decided to work as a teacher assistant to help out with my expenses. Soon I discovered that teaching was the career I needed in my life therefore I changed my major to Interdisciplinary Studies. Teaching elementary students was a great experience I enjoyed for many years. When I felt the urge to continue my education I enrolled at UTRGV and majored in Bilingual Education. Summer without classes are too long for me. Every year I look for a place to teach and learn while we have fun. Last summer was by far the best summer I have ever had. UTCRS directed by Dr. Constantine Tarawneh is a well established project based learning experience that has everyone coming back for more. Everything I learned with UTCRS is now applied at my campus. I currently teach middle school students with special needs. They bring joy to my heart and peace to my mind.
