  • Kahoot
    Kahoot is a user-friendly tool for designing in-class questionnaires and quizzes.
  • Duolingo
    Duolingo is a language-learning app and website that features comprehensive guides for nine of the most commonly taught languages in the U.S., including Spanish, French, and German.
  • Office 365
    Access Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote, OneDrive from anywhere (access with UTRGV account)


  • VoiceThread
    An online presentation and collaboration tool that allows for creating multimedia slideshows and commenting using voice, text, audio file, or video. Free version limited to five VoiceThreads, which can’t be deleted once they are created.
  • Plotly
    Plotly provides a user-friendly platform in which graphs can be created and shared in a Web-based format.
  • Prezi
    An online tool for creating zooming and multimedia-rich presentations.
  • Nearpod
    A great tool to have interactive presentations.
  • Pear Deck
    A tool that integrates with Google Slides to have interactive presentations.

  • Microsoft Teams
    Microsoft Teams is the hub for team collaboration in Microsoft 365 that integrates the people, content, and tools your team needs to be more engaged and effective. (access with UTRGV account).
  • Zoom
    Software for video conferencing and web conferencing (access with UTRGV account).

    An online tool for converting any website into an interactive audio-enhanced dictionary; also allows for creating flash cards.

    Desmos is an incredibly fast online calculator that can graph any imaginable function. It also allows users to add sliders, do regressions, and plot whole data tables, among other things.
  • PatrickJMT
    PatrickJMT gives students access to a wide variety of free online video tutorials in math.
  • Wolfam Alpha
    One part calculator and one part encyclopedia. From showing you step-by-step solutions to complex equations to telling you everything you need to know about the 17th president of the United States (Andrew Johnson), this database provides systematized knowledge in an accessible way.

    Create, view, print, share and listen to professional quality music notation on your computer, tablet or smartphone.

    The simple way to decide on dates, places & more.


  • StudyBlue
    StudyBlue is a popular online studying platform. It boasts a gigantic library of user-created flashcards and study guides.
