Updating the Respondus Lockdown Browser
Prior to beginning any assessment, please check for updates to ensure you're using the latest version of the Respondus LockDown Browser.
- Open Respondus LockDown Browser.
- Windows: Click the “i” icon located on the top left corner.
Mac: Click the About (globe) icon located on the top left corner.
- Click Check for Newer Version or Check for Update.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to download and run the update.
macOS Users: If you’ve updated your computer to macOS 10.15 (Catalina), please update your LockDown Browser to version 2.0.5.02 or higher.
