Draft Submission
All thesis/dissertation drafts (preliminary rough draft and final draft) must be submitted through ProQuest. If you need assistance with creating your account or uploading your draft, please see the PT tutorial.

Please note that all students are required to submit their thesis or dissertation (T/D) draft for a formatting check by the Preliminary Draft Deadline. Failure to do so will result in the T/D title not being included in the commencement program. No exceptions.
Students may submit their draft as many times as needed for additional formatting reviews prior to the final submission.
Title change: We understand that on rare occasions, the title may change during the research process. Once the Application for T/D Committee is approved, the Graduate College must be notified of any title changes. Please submit title change using Grad Forms.
Extension requests regarding the final draft deadline or the thesis/dissertation defense date must be received at least one week before the actual deadline. Requests can be made through the Smart Forms portal, with a valid reason.
- Final Submission
The final manuscript must be submitted after the defense and once all committee-recommended revisions are complete. The Final Thesis/Dissertation manuscript should be 100% error free in formatting and content, and be ready for publication. No further content changes can be made once the Certification of Completion is received.
