Internship Opportunities in Case Management
Are you passionate about supporting student well-being and helping others navigate challenges? The UTRGV Case Management Team offers hands-on internship opportunities for students pursuing careers in Social Work.
What Interns Gain
- Work directly with professional staff in supporting students in distress.
- Learn how to connect students to campus and community resources.
- Develop skills in problem-solving, crisis response, and holistic student support.
- Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and case consultations.
- Gain insight into FERPA, Title IX, and student privacy considerations.
- Contribute to outreach, education, and prevention programming.
Eligibility
Interns must:
- Be enrolled in a relevant undergraduate or graduate program.
- Meet all academic requirements set by their academic department.
- Be available for a minimum number of hours per week (varies by program).
- Complete a background check and onboarding process through UTRGV.
