Mission

The Department of Information Systems offers cutting-edge curriculum and STEM-certified degree programs in business analytics and information systems at the undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral levels. Through hands-on exercises with industry-standard tools like Python, SQL, R, Tableau, Power BI, Hadoop, MapReduce, and Spark, students enhance their technical skills in areas such as programming, database management, data mining, machine learning, artificial intelligence, data visualization, cybersecurity, big data analytics, and healthcare analytics. By taking coursework across various business disciplines and analyzing real-world problems, students develop the acumen needed to succeed in today’s fast-paced business landscape. Our accelerated online Master of Science in Business Analytics (MSBA) was ranked #17 Best Online Master’s in Business Analytics 2024 by Fortune Education.
