What is the TSIA2?
The Texas Success Initiative (TSI) is a program of diagnostic testing and developmental instruction designed to improve student success rates in Texas colleges. Enacted by the Texas Legislature, the TSI requires students to meet established minimum standards on assessment tests in math, reading, and writing when entering college. The assessments are untimed. However, students need to allow enough time to complete each test since the results are a critical factor in determining the course or courses, they can enroll in.
Options for setting up a remote testing session:
- Virtual Remote testing: you can take the TSIA2 at home using your home computer. You must use Meazure Learning to proctor your virtual remote testing session. You are responsible for the $28 proctor fee and any on-demand fees.
- Complete a computer system check to ensure your computer can complete the exam. Test your equipment
- You must create an account with ProctorU after receiving your voucher notification email.
- Remote TSIA2 testing with another Institution, such as a local community college or University, can assist with proctoring your remote TSI Assessment.
- The proctor must be a College Board Remote Testing Network member and agree to assist with proctoring your TSI testing session.
- You will be responsible for any proctoring fees the testing center charges.
