Institutional Exams

The ACT On-Campus is an institution exam offered to prospective UTRGV students as a college entrance exam only. The multiple-choice tests cover four skill areas: English, Math, Reading and Science. You must have applied or be enrolled at UTRGV. ACT policy states that ACT On-Campus scores be sent to UTRGV only. They will NOT transfer to any other school or university.
You must register a minimum of ONE WEEK in advance, but are encouraged to register earlier due to limited seating. Registrations are accepted on a first-come-first-serve basis and *standbys are welcome.
Test Fee: $90.00.

Please remember to bring the following items on test date:
- Valid photo identification card. You WILL NOT be permitted without a valid photo ID. Examples of acceptable forms of identification can be found on the ACT website.
- If you do not have a valid ID card, you can bring an ACT Student Identification ID Form. All components on the form must be completed for the ID to be valid.
- Approved calculator. Please visit ACT Website to see a list of approved calculators

SCORES will be made available for the examinee usually that same day. A photo ID will be required to obtain scores. Scores are sent to UTRGV the same day.
RETEST POLICY: Examinee must wait 60 days to retake this exam.
TOEFL is required of students graduating from a high school in a country where English is not the native language. UTRGV policy requires that institutional TOEFL scores be sent to this institution only. For more information on International Student advisement please call 956/665-2972.
