Program Assessment

BS Statistics:

SLO1. Upon graduation, B.S. in Statistics students will perform statistical procedures and computations at the level described in the core undergraduate courses.

SLO2. Upon graduation, B.S. in Statistics students will communicate statistics and clearly and professionally in written and oral form.

SLO3. Upon graduation, B.S. in Statistics students will demonstrate a sound programming skill through the construction and implementation of technical statistical codes.

 

BS Mathematics:

SLO1. Upon graduation, B.S. in Mathematics students will perform mathematical procedures and computations at the level described in the core undergraduate courses.

SLO2. Upon graduation, B.S. in Mathematics students will communicate mathematics clearly and professionally in written and oral form.

SLO3. Upon graduation, B.S. in Mathematics students will demonstrate a sound conceptual understanding of mathematics through the construction and evaluation of mathematically rigorous and logically correct proofs.

 

BIS Mathematics:

SLO1. Upon graduation, B.I.S. in Mathematics students will perform mathematical procedures and computations at the level described in the core undergraduate courses.

SLO2. Upon graduation, B.I.S. in Mathematics students will communicate mathematics clearly and professionally in written and oral form.

SLO3. Upon graduation, B.I.S. in Mathematics students will demonstrate a sound conceptual understanding of mathematics through the construction and evaluation of mathematically rigorous and logically correct proofs.

 

MS Mathematics:

SLO1. Upon graduation, M.S. in Mathematics students will perform advanced mathematical procedures and computations at the level described in core graduate course descriptions.

SLO2. Upon graduation, M.S. in Mathematics students will demonstrate an ability to read and communicate mathematics clearly and professionally in written and oral form.

SLO3. Upon graduation, M.S. in Mathematics students will demonstrate knowledge of terminology, statements, and proofs in diverse areas of mathematics at a level described in the core graduate courses in Mathematics.

SLO4. Upon graduation, M.S. in Mathematics students will demonstrate an understanding of the motivation, context, and broader impacts of mathematics.
