Make sure to select your correct concentration. That can also be found on your DegreeWorks header.

If your catalog year on DegreeWorks shows 25-26, Follow the appropriate roadmap below.

- BS- Integrated Health Sciences Pathways
BSIHS Students who want to register for more than the maximum allowed hours for a semester must complete and submit an academic over hour petition request and get the department and college approval before the form is forwarded to the registrar’s office.
Max Allowed Hours by term
- Complete the Over Hour Petition Form
- For courses, make sure to include course number and Over Hour Petition Form section number.
- Include a justification and plan of action: In a few sentences, describe why you are requesting an over hour petition and how you will handle the extra course work.
- Download the most recent copy of your DegreeWorks and submit with your form.
- Email your completed over hour petition form and DegreeWorks (full pdf, no screenshots) to BSIHS@utrgv.edu. We’ll take it from there.

Please note that some health profession academic programs at UTRGV and most other institutions require prerequisite coursework and other specific requirements for admission. We strongly encourage students to familiarize themselves with these program requirements early in their undergraduate years to ensure they are well-prepared and competitive candidates.
