Resources
At the Translation and Interpreting Programs, we work closely with the Department of Writing and Languages Studies as well as the School of Interdisciplinary Programs and Community Engagement.
We are the main user of the Language Lab in BMAIN 1.524 (Brownsville Campus). The lab is equipped with the cutting-edge language learning software Sony Virtuoso (R) that is used for a range of simultaneous and consecutive interpreting exercises. The lab also offers access to Trados Studio, the leading software used by professional translation companies to manage and complete their projects.
Our fully online graduate programs, as well as a number of select undergraduate courses are offered in conjunction with the Center for Online Learning and Teaching Technologies (COLTT). COLTT offers personalized support to students and faculty in the program to make the most out of innovative learning methodologies.
Also, the Translation and Interpreting Programs at UTRGV work closely with the Translation and Interpreting Office (T&iO) in a number of endeavors.
