Message from the President: Vaqueros Vote: Have you voted yet?

Logo reading Division of Governmental & Community Relations.

Dear UTRGV Vaqueros:

Have you voted yet?  We’ve all heard the saying “Your Vote is Your Voice” but far too few of us make our voices heard.  Voting in Texas is more than just a right—it's a powerful way to shape the future of our community, our state, and our country. Every vote is a voice that speaks for education, healthcare, justice, and the economy. By casting your ballot, you stand up for your beliefs and influence the policies that will affect generations to come. This is your chance to be heard, to make a difference, and to ensure that your values and vision for the future are represented. Together, we can build a stronger Texas and U.S. - one vote at a time

Early voting has begun and will run until November 1st.  Election Day is November 5th.  We are fortunate that both our Brownsville and Edinburg campuses are Early Voting poll locations and are open from morning to evening, so take a few minutes to vote because those few minutes will make the difference in your lives for years to come!
