Provost and VPAA Search Update

Dear Campus Community,
As previously announced, we have initiated a national search for the next Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs with assistance from the Greenwood Asher search firm.
Listed below are the search committee members who have already had their initial meeting and will continue to work through the process.

Dr. Ruth Crutchfield – College of Health Professions/WFN Chair
Dr. Colin Charlton – College of Liberal Arts/Chairs Council Chair
Dr. Volker Quetschke – College of Sciences
Dr. Daniel Hunter-Holly – College of Fine Arts
Dr. Michael Abebe – RCV College of Business & Entrepreneurship
Dr. Karen Lozano – College of Engineering & Computer Science
Dr. Lilia Fuentes – School of Nursing
Ms. Yadira Mejia – Academic Advising Center/Staff Senate President
Mr. David Granado – Office of the Provost
Mrs. Veronica Gonzales – Office of the Sr. VP for Governmental & Community Relations
Dr. Maggie Hinojosa – Office of the Sr. VP for Strategic Enrollment & Student Affairs

The search committee has been tasked with reviewing all applicants and forwarding a list of three to five candidates. Several will then be selected and invited for further interviews.
We anticipate that this process will take approximately 3 months, but we will move forward as quickly as possible.
