Maria Conde Retirement

Dear UTRGV Family:
Please join me in congratulating Maria Conde on her recent retirement from our university.
Maria worked for UTRGV and our legacy institution, UTB, for 37 years, and spent the last seven years as my assistant. In that role, she served as the liaison between the Office the President and internal and external stakeholders. We thank her for her almost four decades of service and dedication.
Effective immediately, Maria’s role will be filled by Liza Salinas, another longtime member of our university who has worked at UTRGV and our legacy institution, UTPA, for 22 years. Liza has worked in several different divisions/departments and has likely already worked with many of you throughout the years.
