Coming Soon: Great Colleges to Work For® — Campus Climate Survey

Dear Faculty and Staff,

At The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV), our people are the heart of everything we do. From breaking enrollment and fundraising records to breaking ground on new facilities and research projects, we’ve made tremendous progress these past 10 years — and your voice has been driving us forward.

Starting next week, you will have another chance to make your voice heard through the Great Colleges to Work For® — Campus Climate Survey. 2026 marks the third consecutive year UTRGV is participating in this nationally recognized assessment of workplace culture, engagement, and effectiveness in higher education. However, unlike the past two years when only 600 full-time employees were randomly selected to participate, all full-time employees will have an opportunity to take the survey.

Important Survey Details

The survey will be sent by "Great Colleges" from surveys@modernthink.net with the subject line "2026 UTRGV Great Colleges to Work For - Campus Climate Survey".

Full-time employees should start receiving their survey invitation around 10 AM on Monday, March 9, 2026. As a reminder, all collected responses are confidential, and results are reported only in aggregate by ModernThink, the survey administrator.

Your answers will help us better understand what it is like to work at UTRGV and how we compare to peer institutions across the country. The results will inform decisions related to employee engagement, support, and institutional improvement.

This is a wonderful opportunity to tell your story, and I encourage everyone to contribute their honest feedback about the UTRGV employee experience and how we can continue to improve it.
