Partnerships

GEAR UP Partnership grants funded by the US Dept. of Education  generally contract local community members to implement local initiatives, such as professional development, parental involvement, and curriculum enrichment, and they support local efforts to achieve the project objectives. 

Eligible Partners

Match

Partners are required to match the Federal contribution dollar-for-dollar. Matching may be provided in cash or in-kind and may be accrued over the full duration of the grant award period. community partners must make substantial progress towards meeting the matching requirement in each year of the grant.
