Mission

  • To provide a high quality online educational program that meets the needs of working healthcare professionals across varied health care disciplines;

  •  To be a vital part of the university that respects the dignity of each learner and addresses the health care needs of a culturally diverse community.

Application

Bachelor of Applied Technology - Health Services Technology Program
Minimum criteria to be considered for admission to the B.A.T.-H.S.T Program are:

  • Must hold an AAS degree in a health profession that includes at least 36 hours of professional health related coursework
  • Be admitted to UTRGV as a transfer student
  • Submit the B.A.T.-H.S.T. Program Application and all other required materials
    • Completed application form
    • Transcripts showing AAS degree and coursework (not photo or print outs)
    • Applications will be considered only if the packet contains all materials.

  • Concurrent Enrollment in UTHealth Graduate Program is Available for BAT HST Majors

    • Deadlines for program admission are: Spring - October 1st.  Summer - February 1st and Fall - June 1st. If you meet the above criteria and would like additional information, you may contact the UTH Program Manager Jeanette L.
