Spring 2023 Boot Camp was a collaboration between UTRGV's Center for Innovation and Commercialization and Political Science!

  • CSRPA STATA Bootcamp 2 Qualtrics Surveys & Data Analysis with STATA (April 2023)
  • CSRPA STATA Bootcamp 1 Foundations of Data Management (April 2022)
  • CSRPA STATA Bootcamp 1 Foundations of Data Management (January 2022)
  • CSRPA Workshop 1: Zotero Reference Management Program

CSRPA hosted the first STATA Boot Camp from January 19-21, 2022. A total of 9 participants from the School of Rehabilitation Services and Counseling, Sociology, a university NSF team, and the School of Earth Environmental and Marine Sciences spent three days learning basic data management principles and skills.

The first cohort was online!

Participants' feedback:

  • "It was an amazing boot camp, I learned so many valuable skills. Thank you so much!"
  • "Dr. Kim did an amazing job explaining a complicated topic like STATA. I especially enjoyed how he walked us through the examples and stopped whenever someone was having an issue so we could discuss it as a group. Having a small group was also helpful."
  • "The camp was very fast-paced but very worth it! I can now do months worth of data clean-up in a matter of hours utilizing the skills, commands, and formulas I learned. We also learned how to search out and find new STATA skills on our own for continued learning after the camp is over."

Let us know if you want to be a part of it!
